The avatar for Friendica News should perhaps have the word news on it (perhaps in ticker style). I mention this because I have too many identical avatars in my contacts. The same can be said for KakSte Announcements and KakSte Support. #avatardifferentiation

Ich finde es hübsch in gelb... wenn ich mir aber das Friendica-Icon ansehe, dann wird es durch ein weiteres gelbes Element mit schwarzer Umrandung "unübersichtlicher" imho. Just my two pence... schick ist es trotzdem

The only thing I personally would change is the absence of a blue reversed exclamation mark inside the yellow F. Buts that's just me and a little obsession with simmetry.

bear with me splitting hairs when I ask this: the circle seems a little to big compared with the width of the line above, no? And I'm sure you could try this one easily: to keep the perspective, delete the left and upper border of both of the exclamation marks' "pieces". Just to please me 
@Oliver ich hab kein Grafikprogramm installiert... bau doch den Strich vom ! aus einem blauen und zwei schwarzen Rechtecken (statt Umrandung). Dann noch einen Kreis in blau mit schwarzem Rand (ges. Durchmesser = Breite des Strichs) und schwupp....
