Weird. I had added pistos@diasp0ra.ca, and the contact was treated here as rss/atom. I add @Birch Wind, and it recognizes her as a Diaspora* contact. Diaspora* connectivity is flaky.

@Paul Taylor , hah! Yes I am. Guess I forget that this isn't Facebook- Friendica doesn't show updates of who it thinks is most interested in me... it just shows them as they happen. :) @Tony Baldwin - I wonder if that is a setting in his privacy settings?
