It could get better than this, I suppose, but only if she had a bar of chocolate in one hand, and a cup of tea in the other.

No because neither are technically dead. They're "undead" which as I understand is is a different sort of state.

Just done a survey about a computer game from the makers of resident evil.
Doesn't yet have a name apparently.
A woman wakes up in a prison (wow, that's original!), told she has 60 minutes to escape an infection that's broken out.
When she escapes, she's told that what she didn't know is she's already infected and that she must follow these instructions to find the antidote. Wandering through an uncharted island that used to be a soviet detention camp, now infested by zombies (with long hair, for some reason), she eventually finds the antidote, injects it, and what do you know, it's not an antidote, but the infection...
It's ridiculously cliche, but it looked surprisingly #a-word.
No word on a Linux version, but I mentioned this several times during the survey, and also told them to make a proper Resident Evil RPG like Fallout (1&2) or Wasteland.

When I was a kid - five years old at the most - I spotted a VHS labelled "Night Of The Living Dead". I asked if I could watch it, and was told no. So, like any red blooded five year old, I simply got up at 5am and watched it anyway. It scared the shit out of me, but I couldn't tell anyone I'd seen it because then I'd get in trouble.
But here's the thing. It was black and white. I mean, everybody knows that something in black and white is a documentary, right?
Let's just say I never grew out of it.

Yes! That was exactly my thinking at the time. It must have been a documentary, because they didn't invent films until after they invented colour!
In fact, I even remember working it all out.
You couldn't have had all the colours at the same time, because nobody is that clever. Somebody invented a few colours, and slowly worked out how to mix them all together. That's why you went from sepia tone to washed out colours in the 70's, and slowly improved colour ranges. It wasn't the telly, it was people inventing new colours.

Zombies changed About to "Zombies are undead creatures regularly encountered in the world. They are typically depicted as mindless, reanimated corpses with a hunger for human flesh, and particularly for human brains in some depictions, though there are some documented cases of intelligent zombies capable of learning - notably 'Bub' who appeared in a George A Romero documentary on the subject.
Although they share their name and some superficial similarities with the zombie from Haitian Vodun, their links to such folklore are unclear and many consider George A. Romero's seminal documentary "The Night of the Living Dead" to be the definitive authority of these creatures.
The zombie apocalypse, the civilised world brought low by a global zombie infestation, is just around the corner. By 2012 the influence of zombies in popular consciousness had reached far enough that government agencies have finally started making public service announcements with advice of how to survive the outbreak."

We've watched the two seasons of The Walking Dead over the last couple of weeks (recommended) and were speculating on what might happen in season 3 and idly wondered whether burning zombies might not be the most ecological way of dealing with the problem. Of course somebody thought of it first: Composting Zombies.
